Help residents build the skills for independent living.

 

Kokum's House Recovery is seeking professionals, businesses, organizations, Elders, and community members who are interested in sharing practical knowledge through workshops, presentations, or hands-on learning experiences.

 

We are currently looking for presentations and workshops in areas such as:

  • Personal finance and budgeting

  • Meal planning and cooking

  • Employment readiness

  • Résumé writing and interview preparation

  • Workplace expectations and professionalism

  • Time management and goal setting

  • Tenant responsibilities and independent living skills

  • Health and wellness

  • Indigenous culture, traditional teachings, and ceremonies

  • Other life skills that support long-term recovery and independence
