Our Story
Kokum's Corner was created with heart, community, and healing in mind.
Founded in 2020, Kokum's Corner Thrift Store was opened to help support the mission of Kokum's House Recovery Home. What started as a simple idea has grown into a meaningful way to give back—providing affordable items to the community while directly funding programs that help men rebuild their lives.
More than just a thrift store, Kokum's Corner is a space for connection. It offers volunteer opportunities for residents of Kokum's House, helping them develop work experience, confidence, and routine as part of their recovery journey.
Every donation, every purchase, and every moment spent in the store helps support healing, growth, and second chances—for individuals, and for the community as a whole.
