Agnes Gendron
Executive Director
Agnes Gendron has served as the Executive Director of the Cold Lake Native Friendship Centre since 2001, leading with compassion, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to community wellness. A licensed social worker, Agnes brings both professional expertise and lived understanding to her role—working tirelessly to support individuals and families through times of hardship, transition, and healing.

Under her leadership, the Centre has grown into a trusted resource for Cold Lake and surrounding communities, offering programs that address homelessness, addiction, cultural revitalization, and youth empowerment. Agnes was instrumental in the creation of Kokum's House, providing Zane Thain and many others with the opportunity to rebuild their lives through community-based, culturally sensitive recovery.

In 2015, Agnes was recognized with a Woman of Influence Award for her ongoing contributions to the well-being of others. Her legacy is one of quiet strength, service, and deep-rooted care for the people and traditions she stands beside every day.
